With this option, it is estimated that the annual crop yields would increase from 1.7 to 6 tonnes of rice per hectare in SRI, which means from 0.75 to 2.7 tonnes per farm if the whole rice crop surface is converted (since 0.45 hectare of the farm is used for rice crops. Cross multiplication needs to be mastered here!).

The annual yields in cereals, vegetables and beans also increase thanks to fertilization with compost. Some experiments have shown that, in a few years, the yields could increase from 0.4 to 1.5 tonnes per hectare for beans, from 0.8 to 3 tonnes per hectare for rain-fed cereals, and from 3 to 10 tonnes per hectare for vegetables in gardening.

Orange production should also increase thanks to agroforestry. The production per farm would be 600 kg (3 000 oranges). Thanks to the project, agricultural production in the area is greatly improved and diversified (+400 tonnes of fruits or 2 million more oranges for the region).
